(Nasdaq: NVTL), a leading provider of wireless broadband access solutions, and Inter Communications, a leading mobile MVNO in Japan, today announced that the MiFi(R) 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot has received type approval certification with NTT DOCOMO. The MiFi 2372 will now be available on the NTT DOCOMO network through Inter Communications in Japan. The MiFi 2372 includes the MiFi OS platform that expands the possibilities for mobile broadband applications on the MiFi. This will enhance the user experience and applications capabilities across users' devices of choice.
The MiFi 2372 operates on NTT DOCOMO's HSPA network and offers simultaneous Wi-Fi connectivity for up to five devices or users. NTT DOCOMO's 3G mobile broadband network is based on the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) family of technologies that includes GSM, UMTS and HSPA, the most open and widely used wireless network platforms in the world, thus providing international 3G data roaming services in 115 countries.

The award winning MiFi Mobile Intelligent Hotspot delivers download speeds up to 7.2 megabits per second with enhanced performance for simultaneous uploads/downloads and large file transfers. It supports up to five simultaneous users located within 30 feet of the device. Compact and simple to use, the MiFi 2372 also offers optimized functionality for video streaming and online gaming and includes a microSD slot for expandable memory of up to 16 gigabytes.
